Responsibilities
Promotes and maintains the health of designated patients by implementing and assisting in coordination of quality patient care under the direction of an RN or physician.Â
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Â
At Mobile Infirmary Medical Center (MIMC) graduate of an LPN program
At Thomas Hospital (TH), North Baldwin Infirmary (NBI), and Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) participation in a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program, with successful passage of the NCLEX PN examination

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Â
BLS
One of the following:
- Current Alabama LPN license
- Current Multi State LPN License in accordance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama*
*Infirmary Health abides by the NLC requirements and guidelines for the state of Alabama

Associate Degree
Working knowledge of area
