The position requires collaboration with a Physician to provide total patient care for designated patients.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited advanced practice nursing program and possess advanced nursing skills.
A current Alabama RN license or a Multi State RN License in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact is necessary.
Candidates must also hold CRNP credentials approved by the Alabama Board of Nursing and have a physician collaboration approved by the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners.
After June 1, 2012, candidates must have ACLS or BLS certification, with no specific salary mentioned in the job description.

Overview

Responsibilities

In collaboration with a Physician, assumes total patient care for designated patients. Plans, implements, coordinates, and evaluates comprehensive care to ensure quality and continuity of care delivery.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited program of advanced practice nursing
Advanced knowledge and skills in the delivery of nursing services

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

One of the following:

Current Alabama RN license
Current Multi State RN License in accordance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama*

*Infirmary Health abides by the NLC requirements and guidelines for the state of Alabama

CRNP credentialed by the Alabama Board of Nursing and collaboration with physician approved by the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners

After June 1, 2012, ACLS or BLS is required for hire
