Job Summary: As a Retail Sales Associate at Hank's Fine Furniture, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and contributing to the overall success of our Rogers store location. Responsibilities: - Engage with customers in a professional and courteous manner to understand their needs and preferences - Demonstrate product knowledge and assist customers in selecting furniture pieces that meet their requirements - Utilize effective sales techniques such as upselling to maximize revenue opportunities - Operate POS systems with accuracy and efficiency for seamless transactions - Maintain a tidy and organized store environment by restocking merchandise and arranging displays - Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is a plus to cater to diverse customer needs - Handle cash transactions and operate cash registers securelyQualificationsExperience: - Prior experience in retail sales, particularly in furniture or jewelry sales, is advantageous - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment while delivering exceptional customer service - Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills - Strong communication skills with fluency in English; knowledge of Spanish is beneficial PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Capable of standing or walking for extended periods - Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds - Flexibility to bend, kneel, squat, and stoop as needed for customer assistance and merchandise organization - Reach overhead or below waist level comfortably for product handling
