We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Alarm Field Technician//Commercial Fire and Video Alarm to join a successful, growing team. This is a senior-level field position requiring extensive hands-on experience, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to safety and compliance.

The Senior Field Technician will be responsible for the installation, programming, troubleshooting, inspection, and servicing of commercial firewatch systems, fire alarm systems, and video surveillance systems. This role requires advanced diagnostic skills, professionalism in client interactions, and the ability to work independently in the field.


  • Install, program, and service commercial fire alarm systems

  • Install and maintain video surveillance and alarm systems

  • Perform system inspections, diagnostics, and repairs

  • Ensure compliance with NFPA and local fire codes

  • Provide professional customer service and technical support on-site

  • Complete service documentation accurately and timely

  • Mentor junior technicians when needed



  • Requirements

  • Minimum of seven (7) years documented field experience in commercial fire alarm and/or video surveillance systems

  • Proven experience with system programming and configuration

  • Professional certifications (NICET II preferred; manufacturer certifications a plus)

  • Strong knowledge of commercial fire codes and safety regulations

  • Ability to pass a physical fitness test

  • Ability to pass an extensive background check 

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • High attention to detail and safety compliance
