The Role

We’re seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to support inspections, assessments, and repair design for fixed equipment and industrial infrastructure.  • Manage small capital projects for fixed equipment improvements
 • Provide QA/QC for new and rehabilitation construction
 • Prepare repair specifications and drawing packages
 • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, chemical, design, project management)
 • Prepare technical reports and documentation
 • Execute approximately 1,500 billable hours annually
 • Work in field environments including confined spaces, ladders/scaffolding, elevated work areas (50’–125’), and industrial facilities with variable conditions

What You Bring

• B.S. in Structural or Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience
 • Experience with fixed equipment design, inspection, repairs, and failure modes
 • Ability to analyze condition data and develop engineering recommendations
 • Ability to meet project deadlines within budgeted hours
 • Ability to perform essential field tasks in industrial environments, with safety training and equipment provided
 • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
 • Ability to prepare clear technical reports and communicate findings to clients and internal teams
 • Physical ability to perform field tasks such as climbing ladders/scaffolding, lifting up to ~50 lbs on occasion, using power tools for sample collection, and working at heights or in confined spaces, with reasonable accommodations as needed

Preferred experience includes holding a PE license, working with FRP systems, and having exposure to the pulp and paper industry. Familiarity with SolidWorks, Abaqus, MathCAD, and AutoCAD is beneficial, as is experience with corrosion assessment and fixed-equipment damage mechanisms.

What We Offer

 • Paid holidays, PTO, and sick leave
 • 401(k) with up to 3% employer contribution
 • Company-issued gear (laptop, PPE, branded apparel, etc.)
 • Flexible hybrid schedule
 • Career development opportunities
