Responsibilities

Under general direction of the Sterile Processing Manager, the primary purpose of the Supervisor is to assume oversight and responsibility for the daily activities of the department as directed. Responsibilities include supervision of all processing activities, including decontamination, high level disinfection, packaging sterilization and storage. Supervises staff to ensure policies are followed and all work assignments are completed in a timely manner. Reviews accuracy of sterilization logs, equipment logs, and procedure tray inventory.

 

 

Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.
