Job DetailsJob Location: ALM-Coastal Alabama CSRC A6040 - Mobile, AL 36604Position Type: Full Time RegularEducation Level: High School Diploma/GEDSalary Range: $13.80 - $13.80 HourlyJob Category: StoreSchedule/Hours: Tuesday-Saturday, 40 hours weekly This position is responsible for: Drive Salvation Army truck along scheduled route to pick-up donations and/or deliver merchandise to customers. Operates vehicle in compliance with established standards. Reports truck maintenance needs to maintenance supervisor Key Responsibilities: Confer with dispatcher to maintain awareness of scheduled trips. Organize routes to save time and fuel. Assists Truck Helper in lifting and stacking donations. Prepares donation receipts for customers. Maintains good relationships with donors and promote favorable image of The Salvation Army Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Work requires driving vehicle daily with exposure to outdoors where there are physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, snow, heat, or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like. Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing.
