Primary Responsibilities 

  • Ensure on-time delivery of all orders at the lowest cost while meeting customer expectations.
  • Lead and support the Inventory/Warehouse team to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels to support production, shipping schedules, and working capital goals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, Sales, and HSE teams.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all NOV policies, quality standards, and HSE requirements.

Job Duties

  • Supervise daily warehouse and inventory operations, including receiving, storage, picking, shipping, and material flow.
  • Oversee material receiving, inspection, discrepancy resolution, and timely receipt into the Omega ERP system.
  • Coordinate material planning with manufacturing and purchasing to proactively meet production demands.
  • Manage consumable inventory and create procurement requisitions as required.
  • Implement inventory controls for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, including sub-inventory structures and locators.
  • Conduct and oversee cycle counts and physical inventories; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Manage Bill & Hold inventory processes within the Omega system, when applicable.
  • Identify and address obsolete, excess, and surplus inventory in accordance with company policy.
  • Coordinate shipments and pickups with customers and carriers.
  • Optimize warehouse layout, material flow, and storage capacity for efficiency and growth.
  • Analyze inventory data to forecast demand and improve inventory turnover and accuracy.
  • Support sustainability initiatives related to waste reduction and inventory practices.
  • Participate in production and resource planning discussions to support operational efficiency.
  • Recruit, train, develop, and evaluate employees; conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Approve employee timecards through the NOV timekeeping system.
  • Maintain budget oversight for inventory and warehouse operations.
  • Ensure warehouse and inventory processes comply with the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Participate in emergency response activities and support incident reporting and resolution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or supply chain operations.
  • Experience working with ERP systems; Omega ERP preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); MS Project and Adobe preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
  • Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules as needed.
  • Familiarity with inventory KPIs such as inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, and inventory turnover.
