We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead our warehouse team and oversee daily operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys motivating employees, improving processes, and ensuring products move efficiently from receiving to shipping.
The ideal candidate has previous warehouse leadership experience, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead warehouse staff while overseeing daily warehouse operations
- Coordinate receiving, stocking, inventory, order picking, packing, and shipping activities
- Ensure orders are processed accurately and shipped on time
- Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts and inventory control
- Train, coach, and develop warehouse team members
- Schedule and assign daily workloads to maximize productivity
- Monitor employee performance and maintain a positive team environment
- Enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with vendors, carriers, and internal departments
- Work closely with Sales, Purchasing, and Delivery teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiency
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed
- Troubleshoot operational issues and resolve them quickly to minimize downtime
Requirements
- Previous warehouse supervisory, team lead, or warehouse management experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, and inventory control
- Forklift experience (certification is a plus)
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems preferred
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence
- High school diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely
- Work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
