Job DetailsJob Location: Carmel Woods Apartments - Modesto, CA 95356Position Type: Part TimeSalary Range: $500.00 - $500.00 Salary/monthJOB SUMMARY:  The Key Holder responds to tenant requests to lock and unlock the community room, pool, restrooms and other common area spaces when applicable; conducts basic building safety checks; and performs other observation duties as assigned by the Property Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Be on call for emergency situations and refer to the appropriate resources such as the Property Manager, Maintenance Coordinator, Fire Department, Medic, Police, etc. Lock and unlock common areas, community rooms, and amenity areas on a scheduled basis. Report to the Property Manager any hazardous conditions at the development/ complex and other building problems. May leave the premises as needed provided the Property Manager is notified in advance. May perform light janitorial/porter duties as needed in public areas when other staff are not available. Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Two years related experience in property management/training preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. OFFICE EXPERIENCE:  Proficient in MS Office, particularly email (both the desktop version and web based), word, and excel; knowledge of office management systems and procedures, excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize work.  Attention to details and problem-solving skills. LANGUAGE SKILLS:  Ability to read and interpret documents such as emails, utility billings, financial documents, instructional documents, rental agreements, and procedure manuals. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:  Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages. REASONING ABILITY:  Ability to add and subtract numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
