Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Modesto, CA, for a Branch Manager. We are seeking an experienced and driven individual to lead operations, drive profitability, and ensure successful project execution. This role requires a strong combination of leadership, technical expertise, and business acumen to manage teams, oversee projects, and maintain client relationships.


Key Responsibilities:


Operational Leadership:

  • The Branch Manager will lead by example, foster a safe working environment, and drive the branch towards achieving "Best in Class" operational excellence and customer satisfaction
  • Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality standards are consistently met
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Monitor project performance, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful delivery
  • Report directly to stakeholder(s)
  • Miscellaneous duties as required to adapt to market conditions and organizational needs


Project Management:

  • Provide high-level oversight for all electrical construction projects from pre-construction through completion
  • Develop and maintain resource scheduling
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure proper staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Review project estimates, bids, and contracts for accuracy and profitability


Financial Management:

  • Manage branch P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Identify opportunities to improve margins and operational efficiency
  • Approve expenditures and ensure alignment with financial goals


Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop project managers, estimators, and field personnel
  • Foster a strong culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Support recruiting, hiring, and retention of skilled team members


Client & Business Development:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence
  • Represent the company in industry events and networking opportunities


Safety & Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, codes, and company policies
  • Promote a proactive safety culture across all projects and teams
  • Stay current with industry standards and regulatory requirements


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, with leadership or management experience
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction processes, and project management
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with estimating, bidding, and contract negotiation preferred
  • Familiarity with local, state, and national electrical codes
