Job Title: Logistics Coordinator (Swing Shift) Monday-Friday from 1:30pm-10:00pm  
 Department:  Supply Chain

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 

  • The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for verifying and maintaining records on incoming and outgoing shipments. This position also prepares items for shipments and is responsible for the flow of raw material through various parts of the supply chain under the direction of and in support of procurement. The Logistics Coordinator will work with other departments to ensure both internal and external customer satisfaction. They will assist, maintain, and reconcile inventory accuracy of outside warehouses.
  • Receive offsite, overseas Purchase Order’s and work orders. This role will require effective communication with other departments and specifically accounting to ensure accuracy. Thorough understanding of effective reconciliation for China work orders. This position provides administrative support for receiving trucks and unloading product(s). They will stock the warehouse with appropriate tools as needed.
  • They will be responsible for coordinating releases for incoming raw material/BOL, packing slips, and FDA releases. The Logistics Coordinator will validate and enter received products that are offsite into ERP system. They will be responsible to retain and update offsite location contact information and track offsite inventory using Excel or other proprietary systems. When needed, this person will be responsible for issuing returns for rejected raw material into Process Pro – PO, Packing Slip & BOL.
  • They will maintain the receiving schedule and will be responsible for reviewing offsite inventory billing, and authorizing invoices. Collaboration with outside freight forwarding agents is key, while arranging incoming freight when it was not arranged prior. This role coordinates with other functional staff, including customer service, logistics, and planning and may be delegated additional tasks by the Warehouse Supervisor and/or Manager as needed. 

 REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: 

  • High school diploma required. This position will be required to perform basic math, reading and writing as well as basic computer skills.
  • The position will be required to demonstrate an ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with co-workers, departments, vendors, and candidates.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and advanced computer literacy is required

  •  • In the absence of Lead serves as back up to ensure all food safety, quality objectives and SQF system requirements are met. 


  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - Must be able to perform the following functions with or without accommodations:
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling along with some fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires the following percentages of time committed to physical activity: 50% or more sitting, 50% or more walking, and 50% or more standing.
  • The job is performed under frequent temperature variations and in a food manufacturing warehouse environment. Unrestricted visual and audio abilities are required for the safety of all employees. The ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
