Sonic Summary

info
  • WelbeHealth is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide restorative and rehabilitative services as part of an interdisciplinary team focused on patient-centered care.
  • The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy, with a master's preferred, and candidates should ideally have outpatient, acute, inpatient, or skilled nursing experience.
  • Compensation ranges from $105,813.52 to $126,475.48 USD, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical insurance and a 401(k) match.
  • Occupational Therapists at WelbeHealth enjoy lower patient volumes, long-term relationships with participants, and a strong work/life balance with generous PTO and holidays.
  • Candidates must hold a valid California Occupational Therapy License or proof of eligibility, and CPR and First Aid certification is required within 180 days of hire.

At WelbeHealth, each participant of our program is guided by our interdisciplinary team (IDT) - composed of clinical and non-clinical members who work cohesively to provide quality patient-centered care.

The Occupational Therapist coordinates and provides restorative and rehabilitative occupational therapy services, working closely with the PACE Physician, rehabilitation staff, and other IDT members to maximize participant independence and safety, as well as enhance performance of ADLs.

This role is different because Occupational Therapists at WelbeHealth:

  • Lower patient volumes – no more seeing 3-4 patients an hour
  • Form long-term relationships with participants rather than short-term rehab stints
  • Collaborate with other therapists, providers, and disciplines
  • Have work/life balance - no after hours of documentation

We care about our team members. That’s why we offer:

  • Medical insurance coverage (Medical, Dental, Vision)
  • Work/life balance - We mean it! 17 days of personal time off (PTO), 12 holidays observed annually, and 6 sick days
  • 401K savings + match
  • Comprehensive compensation package including base pay and bonus
  • Unlimited CEUs through MedBridge
  • And additional benefits!

On the day-to-day, you will:

  • Conduct Occupational Therapy assessments in our facility and occasionally in the home to define participant care needs, preferences, and goals
  • Actively participate in IDT meetings to develop participant care plans
  • Deliver and document interventions as agreed upon in participant care plans
  • Provide active and passive exercise, muscle re-education, gait, and functional training of ADLs
  • Work with Therapy Assistants, providing training, instruction, and guidance needed to implement Functional Maintenance Programs (FMP)

Job requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy; master’s preferred
  • Valid California Occupational Therapy License, or proof of license eligibility
  • Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire and maintain certification thereafter; CPR and First Aid certification upon hire preferred

We are seeking Occupational Therapists that ideally have outpatient, acute, inpatient, or skilled nursing experience. If you’re ready to join a holistic care team that values both its patients and its providers, we’d love to hear from you!
