(Part-Time with Full-Time Growth Opportunity)

Location: Modesto, CA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-3:00 PM

L.I.F.E. is looking for a positive, motivated, and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying organized, takes pride in helping others, and is eager to learn and grow within a supportive and rewarding work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and prepare clinical materials, including sanitizing toys and assembling clinical bins.
  • Assist administrative team with office communications.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain files.
  • Monitor office supply inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Assist the administrative team with projects and day-to-day office operations.
  • Run local business errands as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment.
  • Greet visitors and assist with checking in interview candidates.
  • Support various office tasks and other duties as assigned.
  • Proactive and forward-thinking with a "see it, solve it" mindset. Takes ownership of responsibilities, identifies what needs to be done, and proactively asks, "What's next?" rather than waiting for direction.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Flexible, dependable, and able to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating as part of a team.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift up to 50lbs, while performing essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Professional, friendly, and customer-service oriented.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Previous office or administrative experience.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Associate's degree or coursework in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Familiarity with office equipment such as printers and scanners.
  • Bilingual.
  • Experience working in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
