Carpenter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with wood and other materials to construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures.

You must be able to work with precision, follow blueprints, and ensure high-quality craftsmanship in both residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications.

• Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials using hand and power tools.

• Build frameworks such as walls, floors, and doorframes.

• Install structures and fixtures like windows, doors, cabinetry, and molding.

• Repair or replace damaged frameworks or structures.

• Ensure accuracy and quality in all carpentry work.

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

• Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as electricians and plumbers.

• Stay updated on industry best practices and tools.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proven experience as a carpenter or in a similar role.

• Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment.

• Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations.

• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.

• Excellent physical condition and stamina.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Valid driver’s license (if required for the position).

Preferred:

• Certification or training from a technical school or apprenticeship program.

• Experience in both residential and commercial construction.
