The Design Drafter will perform diversified duties related to creating bills of material, illustrations, engineering records, design, tooling, assembly drawings and layouts. This position will work from approved Equipment Order Details (EODs) and work with Mechanical Engineers to detail tooling and machine components for manufacturability. They will also work with members of other departments relating to Engineering documents and projects.  Â

What You’ll Do:Â
- Participate in cross-functional teams offering ideas and suggestions, providing content or data and ensuring successful execution.
- Prepare Engineering Change Notices and Update Engineering records for company use.Â
- Responsible for ensuring technicians are fully trained and successful in daily activities and providing feedback.
- Generate plant layouts for sales and service functions as well as work from approved EODs as well as written and verbal instructions to create BOMs and illustrations.

What You’ll Need: Â
- Proficient use of Autodesk AutoCAD (2D) and Autodesk Inventor and/or other 3D software.
- Knowledge of Engineering practices and familiarity with Engineering records and routines.
- College coursework or a combination of education and practical experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of this position with a high degree of proficiency.Â
- 2 years of drafting and design experience.

Pay Range: The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location, and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications.

$70,000 - $77,500 per year. This position is eligible for a bonus incentive plan, based on company and/or individual performance.
