Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and caring Dental Assistant to join our team! As a Dental Assistant, you will provide top-notch dental care, delivering smooth, efficient, and compassionate patient care. You will provide assistance to the dentist during exams and procedures and complete administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments. Desired skills include: dedication, clear communication, organization, and a genuine willingness to learn and grow. The ideal candidate has an associate's degree from a certified school and previous experience as a Dental Assistant. If you’re friendly, outgoing, and committed to a great patient experience, we want to hear from you! 

Responsibilities 
  • Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
  • Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
  • Take vital signs and accurately record medical history
  • Set up, break down, and sterilize operatories and instruments 
  • Assist the dentist during procedures and exams
  • Make impressions (scan or traditional), make temporary crowns, provide pre- and post-operative instructions, take radiographs
  • Schedule appointments, explain treatment plans
  • Track lab cases and manage inventory
  • Support clinical and administrative team members
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
  • Minimum of 1-2 years chairside experience
  • Strong computer and data entry skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Organized
  • Ability to provide high-quality patient care
