Join our team at Robert Young Center as a Licensed Mental Health Professional at our Clinton Outpatient Clinic! In this rewarding role, you'll provide mental health assessments, individual, family, and couples therapy, develop personalized treatment plans, and support individuals on their journey to healing and recovery. You'll also complete crisis evaluations as needed while delivering compassionate, high-quality behavioral health care.

As a valued member of our team, you'll provide clinical supervision to provisionally licensed clinicians and interns as needed while serving as a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) under Medicaid Community Mental Health Services Rule 132. Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive mental health assessments, establish diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy to support patients with a variety of mental health needs.
  • Complete crisis evaluations and coordinate care with inpatient behavioral health units, crisis services, and emergency departments when needed.
  • Collaborate with community agencies, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with Medicaid, CARF, HIPAA, and accreditation standards.
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to provisionally licensed clinicians, interns, and students as needed.
  • Meet clinical productivity standards while delivering compassionate, high-quality behavioral health services in accordance with UnityPoint Health values.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in a community mental health setting.

License(s)/Certification(s):

  • Current licensure in good standing in Illinois or Iowa as one of the following:
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW)
    • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
