Tri-State Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, a well-respected and busy orthopaedic practice, is recruiting for both a full-time and part-time certified X-Ray Technologist. Our Technologists not only perform x-rays but are cross trained to also assist with patient care duties. Candidates must possess excellent customer service skills, a passion to help our patients and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic environment with a positive and upbeat attitude.

Job Description:

  • Primary responsibility: completing quality x-rays in an efficient manner
    • Fuji DR at North Hills, Seven Fields, Robinson Twp. and Fox Chapel
    • Konica KDR Primary X-ray System at Butler
    • EMR experience is a plus
  • Monday through Friday daylight hours
    • We must stay until office hours are finished and all patients are seen (latest scheduled staff)
    • Possible evening and weekend hours (Ortho Urgent Care)
  • Work collectively alongside Physicians/Physician Assistants
  • All Clinical staff trained as Medical Assistants which may include but is not limited to:
    • Triaging patients
    • Suture/staple removal
    • Injection preparation for providers
    • Bracing
    • Assisting in electronically sending medications
    • Ordering advanced imaging (MRI/CT/US/Bone Scan)
  • Possible travel could be required to all five of our office locations: primary focus on Butler
    • Locations: North Hills, Seven Fields, Robinson Twp., Fox Chapel, and Butler
    • Primarily based in your "home office" which is determined by home location
    • Typically placed in offices that are geographically desirable based on home address but may need to travel to other offices based on need
