SOBRE EL PUESTO
Spring Creek Growers es un vivero mayorista que cultiva y envía plantas vivas. LO QUE HARÁ
- Levantar, cargar y mover plantas, macetas, tierra y materiales durante todo el día
- Empujar y jalar racks y carritos pesados cargados de plantas
- Agacharse, ponerse en cuclillas, arrodillarse y estirarse repetidamente durante todo el turno
- Cargar y descargar camiones
- Regar, espaciar, podar y mantener las plantas

ABOUT THE ROLE
Spring Creek Growers is a wholesale plant nursery that grows and ships live plants. Our nursery workers are outdoors and in greenhouses for the full workday, on their feet, moving and caring for plants. This is hands-on manual labor in real Waller, TX weather — hot, humid summers and cold, wet winters. If you like working outside and staying active all day, you'll do well here. This is an outdoor, physical role, so it's best suited to people who enjoy that kind of work rather than indoor or desk work.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lift, carry, and move plants, pots, soil, and materials all day
- Push and pull heavy loaded racks and carts of plants
- Bend, squat, kneel, and reach repeatedly for a full shift
- Load and unload trucks
- Water, space, prune, and maintain plants
- Work at a steady pace to hit daily order and production goals
WORKING CONDITIONS — be sure you're comfortable with these
- Outdoors and in greenhouses for most or all of the shift, year-round
- Summer heat and humidity regularly above 95°F; winter cold, wind, and rain
- Standing, walking, and moving for the entire shift
- Repeated lifting of 25–50 lbs, occasionally more with help
Requirements
REQUISITOS
- Experiencia previa realizando trabajo físico al aire libre en clima caluroso y frío — vivero, granja, rancho, jardinería/paisajismo, construcción, almacén/patio o similar
- Capacidad para realizar trabajo manual durante toda la jornada en todas las estaciones del año
- Debe estar legalmente autorizado para trabajar en los Estados Unidos
- Responsable, puntual y capaz de mantener un ritmo constante
- Capaz de seguir instrucciones y trabajar bien en equipo
PREFERIBLE (NO OBLIGATORIO)
- Bilingüe inglés/español
- Experiencia previa en vivero o invernadero
WHAT WE REQUIRE
- Prior experience doing physical outdoor work in hot and cold weather — nursery, farm, ranch, landscaping, construction, warehouse/yard, or similar
- Able to perform manual labor for a full workday in all seasons
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Reliable, punctual, and able to keep a steady pace
- Able to follow instructions and work well on a team
PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED)
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Previous nursery or greenhouse experience
