Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services to students in the Moncks Corner, South Carolina area for the 20262027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working with a supportive school team.
Position Details
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
School Year: July 27, 2026 May 27, 2027
One school assignment
Serving students in Kindergarten through 8th grade (K-5 and 6-8)
Approximate caseload of 45 students
Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to support student success
Responsibilities
Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
Provide direct speech and language therapy services.
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Consult with teachers and families to support student communication across educational settings.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Active South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility to obtain one).
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply if eligible.
ASHA certification preferred.
Previous school-based experience is a plus but not required.
