Forklift Operator 1st shift

Description

• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and in accordance with company procedures.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, containers, and storage areas.
• Move, stack, stage, and organize products and materials in designated locations.
• Verify product quantities, labels, lot numbers, and shipping or receiving documentation as required.
• Inspect loads for damage and report discrepancies or damaged materials.
• Complete required pre-shift forklift inspections and report equipment defects promptly.
• Maintain accurate inventory movements using scanners, warehouse systems, or required paperwork.
• Follow established procedures for product handling, storage, shipping, and receiving.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas, aisles, docks, and equipment.
• Follow all safety policies, including requirements for personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Immediately report accidents, spills, unsafe conditions, and near misses.
• Assist with general warehouse, distribution, or material-handling duties as needed.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely lift and move materials within established job requirements.
• Ability to enter and exit forklift equipment repeatedly.
• Ability to work in warehouse, plant, dock, or outdoor environments where temperatures and conditions may vary.
• Ability to wear required PPE.
