MATERIALS HANDLER

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support operations in our Lamination Department. This position is responsible for moving materials throughout the plant, assisting with the unloading of incoming deliveries, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the lamination area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods between departments using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment.

• Assist with unloading incoming trucks and verifying delivery contents against packing lists or purchase orders.

• Replenish materials and supplies as needed in the lamination area to keep production running smoothly.

• Remove waste materials and scrap from workstations and dispose of according to company guidelines.

• Keep the lamination department clean, organized, and free of debris; sweep floors, empty trash, and ensure walkways are clear.

• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a safe work environment.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or plant leadership.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is a plus.

• Ability to operate forklifts or pallet jacks (certification preferred or company will train).

• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.

• Team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills.

Work Environment:

• Industrial plant setting with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.

• Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
