Position Overview

Working as a member of a team within the EZ Dock kitting area, assist in the attainment of all manufacturing production requirements by learning and following all process steps and requirements necessary to produce orders. 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

1. Demonstrates ability to self-verify load completeness and intense attention to detail.

1. Demonstrates an understanding of internal supplier and ability to chase shortages from shortage sheet.

1. Work with outside vendors and other departments on shortages and attainment of product to meet customer needs.

1. Cross train to complete UPS shipments, as needed.

1. Understand, print, and complete paperwork, including Tracker Database, accurately and efficiently.

1. Pack orders by hand counting and/or weigh counting (hardware and manufactured parts).

1. Demonstrate good housekeeping,recyclingand proper storage of equipment. 

1. Ability to run chain cutting OBI presses and assemble ropes, as needed.

1. Demonstrates consistent successful performance by meeting demand of customer andremainingproductive during work hours.

1. Work to meet established expectations and pursuesobjectiveswith energy and persistence.

1. Is open to change andnew information; rapidly adapts tonew information, changing conditions or unexpected obstacles.

1. Adhere andcomply withall company safety requirements.

1. Work effectively on a team bydemonstratingeffective communication and abiding by code of conduct when interacting with co-workers, managers, and vendors.

Qualifications, Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
• Prefer one to three years related experience inshipping/parts department.

Reasoning Ability:

• Ability to carry out instructionsfurnishedin written or verbal form.
• Ability to read and interpret basic documents, safetyrulesand other correspondence.
• Ability to count and measure equipment.

 Mathematical Skills:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using basic math skills.

 Other Skills and Abilities:

• Demonstrated ability to perform duties with direction. 
• Demonstrates ability to use the handheld scanners accurately. 
• Demonstrates blueprint reading skills.
• Demonstrates inventory accuracy.
• Demonstrates ability to print all paperwork necessary for the department.
• Demonstrates ability to receive goods into our system accurately andtimely.
• Demonstrates the delivery of parts to customers istimelyandaccurate.
• Ensure facility maintenance through housekeeping, keeping product and facility secure, andmaintainingthe assets of the facility.

Attendance Requirement:

Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such a level as is determined in the company’s employee handbook. Must be available and willing to work overtime hours as the employer determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs. Must be available and willing to work such weekends and/or holidays as the employer determines are necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.

Working Conditions:

May be exposed to noise if working in or around a production area.  Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, talk, and hear.  Physical demands include frequent lifting and/or carrying 10 – 100 lbs. and pushing or pulling 25 – 100 lbs.

Position Location:

Position is onsite and not remote eligible. 

Compensation:

Compensation for this position will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications, aligning with industry standards.  The salary range for Monett, MO is also based upon geographical market standards for the industry and position in those areas.
