You will play a vital role in ensuring customer vehicles are repaired safely, efficiently, and correctly the first time. Key Responsibilities Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using advanced diagnostic equipment. Repair and maintain diesel engines, transmissions, drivetrains, brakes, steering, suspension, HVAC, electrical systems, and emissions/aftertreatment systems. Perform preventive maintenance services according to manufacturer recommendations. Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs in compliance with Freightliner standards. Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and recommend additional repairs when necessary. Accurately document diagnostic findings, repair procedures, and completed work orders. Collaborate with service advisors, parts personnel, and fellow technicians to maximize shop efficiency. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following OSHA and dealership safety standards. Participate in ongoing technical and manufacturer training to stay current with evolving technologies. Deliver exceptional workmanship and contribute to outstanding customer satisfaction. QualificationsQualifications Minimum of 2 years of heavy-duty diesel repair experience (Freightliner experience preferred). Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Experience using OEM diagnostic software and scan tools. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL is a plus. ASE and/or OEM certifications preferred but not required. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a fast-paced shop environment. Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
