We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager for a long-term, direct hire opportunity with a growing electrical contracting business in Monroe, NC.
  • Salary: $ 100,000 to $125,000 depending on experience

Overview:
The project manager oversees all aspects of assigned projects. Successful completion of projects will include effective and efficient planning and management of the project’s assigned staff, resources, schedule, and budget.
Job Responsibilities for Electrical Project Manager:
  • Manage all aspects of assigned projects, Financial, Schedule, Materials, Labor, and Equipment.
  • Set clear goals and expectations to the assistant project manager, lead electrician and staff assigned to the project.
  • Review, price and manage all project scope and coordination changes.
  • Prepare and submit any change orders. Follow up on all change orders in a timely manner.
  • Record and communicate the progress, challenges, and changes to assigned projects to the project team (customer, management, and field), addressing promptly any concerns.
  • Develop and maintain a network of professional relationships within our industry.
  • Planning/preparing all contract administration, executing and directing project activities, and developing or maintaining client relationships.
  • Create and maintain schedule related to assigned projects. This includes organization of current crews and manpower projections throughout the project.
  • Responsible for procuring, submitting, and managing the submittal process for assigned projects.
  • Creating and maintaining material management plan related to assigned projects. This includes determining material needs, pricing, ordering material, receiving material and organizing material.
  • Responsible for ensuring that subcontractor scopes are consistent with documents (drawings, specs, bid package) and that subcontractor is qualified for and can complete work.
Requirements for Electrical Project Manager:
  • 5 - 10 years related experience or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Have and maintain a current, valid and in good standing Driver’s License.
  • Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.
  • Demonstrate experience with project management and leadership.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam, Quantum, Accubid, or Procore is preferrable
  • Experience in Change Orders, BIM Coordination, blueprint reading and scaling, RFI's, RFQ's, and take off's
