We are a profitable, growing company with a strong reputation for excellence.   Position Summary     The Welder will perform welding, and cutting of metal components using flame-cutting and hand-welding equipment. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan work order procedures. Weld and fabricate a variety of components using proper techniques and tools. Inspect and monitor welding processes to prevent overheating, warping, or distortion. Assemble, tack, and weld parts in vertical, flat, and overhead positions. Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work environment. Report faulty equipment or defective materials promptly. Perform other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements Ability to weld in vertical, flat, and overhead positions. Manual dexterity and visual acuity for precision work. Proficiency in PVF (pipe, valves, fittings) welding and fitting. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience welding cut pipe, flanges, ports, drains, and other attachments. Familiarity with setup, positioning, and angular measurements. Must pass a demonstration weld test. Skills & Competencies Knowledge of welding machines, tools, and maintenance. Understanding of design techniques and technical plans. Strong math and measurement skills. Effective communication and listening abilities.
