Human Resources Business Partner (HR of One)

Location: Taylor Logistics

Taylor Logistics is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HR of One) to lead all Human Resources functions at one of our distribution locations. This position is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys variety, building relationships, solving problems, and partnering with leaders to create an outstanding employee experience.

What You’ll Do

As the dedicated HR professional for your assigned facility, you’ll support employees from hire to retirement while partnering with operations to drive business results. Every day is different, and you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both people and the business.


· Process weekly payroll and ensure payroll accuracy for your assigned location.

· Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard hourly and salaried employees.

· Partner with managers on workforce planning and staffing needs.

· Coach supervisors on employee relations, attendance, performance management, and company policies.

· Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions.

· Prepare and review disciplinary documentation and performance reviews.

· Maintain HRIS records and process personnel changes including promotions, transfers, wage changes, and terminations.

· Assist employees with benefits, leave administration, workers’ compensation, and HR-related questions.

· Facilitate new hire orientation and coordinate required training.

· Plan employee engagement, recognition, wellness, and communication activities.

· Monitor HR metrics including turnover, attendance, recruiting, and payroll accuracy.

· Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable employment laws.

· Serve as a trusted business partner to operations leadership while supporting Taylor Logistics’ culture and values.  

The HRBP will also assist other HR team members within the company. 


Requirements

 Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

· 3–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.

· Experience supporting warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or logistics operations preferred.

· Experience processing payroll.

· Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

· Experience using HRIS systems; Paylocity experience preferred.

· Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

· SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
