CSafe is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join our team in Monroe, Ohio, where you will play a critical part in keeping our global lease fulfillment and supply chain operations running seamlessly. In this position, you will partner with internal teams and third-party providers to ensure leased product availability across our service centers and hubs, while managing transportation performance, controlling costs, and supporting the efficiency of our global logistics network. The Logistics Specialist will report to the Bulk Air Cargo Logistics Manager.

What You’ll Do:

  • Monitor and maintain container fleet inventory levels to meet on-time shipments of customer leases.
  • Utilize systems to track inventory, shipments, and asset positioning across the global network.
  • Establish and manage relationships with third-party logistics service providers.
  • Plan and execute domestic and international shipments, coordinating air, ground, and ocean transportation as required. 
  • Follow up with third-party Logistics Service Providers on needed documentation, information, or questions to ensure smooth execution of planned inventory moves.
  • Proactively identify and resolve shipment delays, disruptions, and inventory imbalances; escalate critical issues as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and applicable quality standards.
  • Support negotiation and evaluation of transportation rates and service agreements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Support, Finance, Technical Support, Sales, and other internal teams to meet business needs. 
  • Identify continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service levels and reduce operational costs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support global logistics operations.
  • In office requirement – three (3) to four (4) days a week.
  • 5% travel may be required for training, meetings, or vendor interactions.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years global logistics/supply chain experience
  • Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PLs). 
  • Familiarity with ERP/TMS systems and inventory management tools. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook), intermediate proficiency in Excel preferred
  • Experience with Power BI analytics preferred, but not required
  • Superior analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. 
  • Ability to organize data and responsibilities with prioritization by level of importance
  • Excellent customer service experience. Must have the ability to work with varied internal and external customers and respond to variable customer requirements and demands 
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
  • Self-starter who will drive results with minimal supervision
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally
  • Comfortable and experienced working within a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication, organizational, teamwork, and presentation skills
