CorMedical is accepting applications for a full time Medical Assistant for an employer on-site primary care clinic. We provide care to employees and their spouses/dependents 18 years and older. The work schedule is Monday through Friday 8a-5p. This position offers competitive pay, benefits, PTO, paid holidays, and 401k with a company match. 


SUMMARY:


• Assists nurse practitioner with patient care, clerical, environmental and organizational tasks. 

• Obtains medical history and vital signs 

• Administers medication/injections 

• Administer EKG, phlebotomy, urinalysis, testing, etc. 

• Rotate through both front and back office 

• Front office duties include scheduling, checking in/out patients, insurance verification, collection of copays, answering phones, etc. 

• Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. 

• Conveys a positive image of the clinic. 


EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:


 • High school degree or equivalent required. 

• 1 year of primary care office or urgent care setting preferred. 

• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. 

• Front office experience preferred but not required 


LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Registered or Certified Medical Assistant required
