Northeast Power Dry is seeking an experienced, hands-on Operations Field Manager to lead our mitigation operations. Position Overview

The Operations Field Manager will be responsible for supervising and guiding a team of technicians in responding to property damage caused by water or mold. This role requires a proven ability to manage operations efficiently, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintain excellent customer relations. A strong knowledge of construction practices and jobsite safety protocols is essential. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and highly skilled in both the technical and leadership aspects of mitigation work.

What You'll Do

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead, coach, and develop the mitigation team to achieve operational excellence and exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Oversee mitigation projects from start to finish, ensuring quality workmanship and on-time completion
  • Conduct on-site inspections and provide hands-on leadership when needed
  • Direct crews in the field and ensure proper construction and mitigation methods are followed
  • Develop and improve operational workflows to maximize efficiency and productivity
  • Monitor project progress, resolve issues quickly, and ensure customer expectations are exceeded
  • Hire, onboard, train, and mentor new team members
  • Conduct ongoing performance evaluations and provide coaching for continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to coordinate staffing, equipment, and project resources
  • Oversee inventory management and ensure equipment is properly maintained and available
  • Review construction plans, scopes of work, and project documentation
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and industry best practices
  • Provide operational support during emergency situations, including after-hours response when needed
  • Monitor job costing, resource allocation, and operational performance

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 2–5 years of management experience in construction, restoration, or a related industry
  • Previous mitigation and restoration industry experience preferred
  • Hands-on construction experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, job costing, and resource management
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practices
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and project documentation
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
