Job DetailsJob Location: Atlanta - Monroe, GA 30655Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $16.00 - $16.50 Hourly The Greenhouse/Packhouse Operator (Labeler) and Runner operates and supports packaging-line equipment, label application, material supply, line changeovers, KPI tracking, basic sanitation, and troubleshooting. This position directs Production Assistants assigned to the Multivac line, maintains accurate GFSI and operator records, supports production flow and product quality, and performs assigned Packhouse roles as needed.  WHAT YOU’LL DO  Equipment Operation and Troubleshooting  Start up and shut down the denester, scales, tray sealer, metal detector, check weigher, and labeler.  Perform basic troubleshooting of unit operations and equipment incorporated into the packaging line.  Minimize downtime during equipment breakdowns and product changeovers.  Change film, labels, and ribbons as needed.  Production, Materials, and Documentation  Accurately complete all Operator GFSI tasks and documentation.  Track line KPIs, including startup time, ramp-up time, and quality rejects.  Stock raw materials after shutdown and as needed to complete production.  Team Coordination and Cross-Functional Support  Provide clear direction to Production Assistants working on the Multivac line.  Communicate clearly and operate assigned lines with a sense of urgency.  Perform the Tier 1 Packer/Sorter role as needed.  Perform additional duties as assigned.  Employee and Food Safety Compliance  Follow the facility GMPs.  Execute daily processes that enforce food safety protocols and maintain compliance.  Perform basic sanitation tasks as needed to keep equipment clean and operational.  Follow applicable GFSI, food safety, equipment-safety, and personal protective equipment requirements while operating the packaging line.  WHO YOU ARE  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS  Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.  Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.  Ability to work comfortably in summer heat conditions and air-conditioned rooms.  Ability to work at a steady pace with close attention to detail.  Reliable transportation to and from work.  Open availability to work varying schedules, including weekends when needed.  Valid authorization to work in the United States.  Knowledge, Skills And Abilities  Ability to start up, shut down, operate, and perform basic troubleshooting on assigned packaging-line equipment.  Ability to complete Operator GFSI records, Pack Log entries, and line KPI records accurately.  Ability to coordinate Production Assistants and communicate production needs with clarity and urgency.  Ability to perform Packer, Sorter/Quality Control, and Runner responsibilities efficiently.  Ability to support changeovers, maintain raw-material supply, and minimize packaging-line downtime.  Ability to follow sanitation, food safety, equipment-safety, and personal protective equipment requirements.  WHO WE ARE  Gotham Greens is on a mission to transform how and where fresh produce is grown.
