As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Rounds in Middletown, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, support store teams, and assist shoppers with directions and questions. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and respond professionally with integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal driver policy requirements, on a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail sales floor, stock areas, entrances, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical situations, and alarms, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor entrances and high-traffic areas, observe for unusual activity and potential theft indicators, and help to deter loss through presence, customer engagement, and timely reporting.
• Complete shift logs, incident reports, and other documentation, and communicate security-related concerns to supervisors and location management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
