Position Summary: Responsibilities include welding metal pipelines using arc, mig or stick welding equipment. The individual will be able to weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions. Position may also require traveling to another state depending on customer demands.

Essential Functions:

Work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Practical problem solving; ability to deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Interpret variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Work effectively in a team environment and have a strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Able to lift and move materials and/or items in excess of 50 lbs.
  • Able to perform vigorous physical labor.
  • Able to read drawings.
  • Ability to climb up and down
  • Requires 1-3 years of working experience.
  • Qualified welder in conformance with API Standard 1104
  • Must have own basic hand tools.
  • Able to use and/or perform work using the following tools and equipment on a continuous basis or when necessary:
    • Mig welder 
    • Aluminum welder 
    • Overhead crane
    • Press brake
    • Shear
    • Band saw
  • Able to work in an environment or surrounding with noise, smoke and fumes on a daily basis.
  • Willing to work over-time when requested.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Related experience in lieu of education will be considered.
  • Valid operator’s license and DOT physical. Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred
  • Willing to work outside of the normal work schedule including weekends, holidays, and overtime as requried for the position.
