ESSENTIAL TASKS:

Inspect material, mark defects and flaws for grinding and remove defects with hand grinder if required.
Weighs, band, mark, stamp, tag and identify material after re-grinding.
Check dimensions and surface quality to meet customers’ requirements.
Ensure compliance with established grinding techniques.
Detect and report defective material and improper operations and unusual condition to proper supervision.
Comply with prescribed safety regulations and keep area clean.

NON-ESSENTIAL TASKS:

Perform other duties as required or directed by work leader or supervisor.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or GED
Required to pass In-dept vision screening
Requires the use of some judgement to inspect and mark defects.
Be able to read and follow written procedures.
