Job Summary: Generates work orders, facilitates jobs through the work floor, posts labor and materials, recaps work orders for accuracy, bills customer repairs, generates reports, files, and performs general office duties.

Responsibilities: 

  • Greets and takes in repairs from customers at service window
  • Answers incoming phone calls from customers
  • Reach out to dormant customers for repairs / customer service / estimation follow ups
  • Creates work orders; Writes up tags; takes pictures 
  • Send out and follow up on quotes and repairs
  • Communicates to customers for minor, less technical repairs
  • Invoice and take payment when able, for cash customers
  • Compete all warranties (all except E-Send-outs); Complete all Freeport Send-Outs
  • Dispatch motor shop delivery driver & complete related paperwork (inbound/outbound)
  • Print all forms and service order tags for new repairs
  • Create initial bin location and update for motors in all locations
  • Spot check/cycle count inventory for motor shop
  • Fills in for Estimator to print rewind, paint, and machine cards when necessary as well as backup for other administrative employees
  • Provide Tech training to HR
  • Filing (electronic & paper) department specific documents, as needed
  • Performs related duties as assigned, including but not limited to: send outs, warranties, bill item fulfillments 

Required Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Personal computer skills: Microsoft Office products 
  • 2 years customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Electrical knowledge 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills 
  • Prioritizations, multi-tasking and organization skills
  • Good attendance history

Working Conditions: 

  • Exposed to dust & noise from Motor Shop
