Qualifications:

* 5-10 years’ experience in retail, commercial, and mixed-use projects

* Ability to develop initial design concepts, produce presentation drawings and communicate design ideas clearly and effectively via software or hand-sketching

* Proficient in AutoCAD, 3D modeling (Sketchup), Adobe Suite

* Ability to develop site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details

* Ability to excel in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments

* Collaborative and team-oriented

* Interface with clients, make presentations, collaborate with other disciplines.

* Ability to manage multiple project priorities effectively within schedules and budgets.

* Knowledge in material selections & finishes, construction methods, building systems

* Incorporate applicable codes, safety standards and governmental regulations into design work

* Supports project phases from initial design concepts through project completion.

* Coordinates between internal team, client, consultants, and regulatory agencies during the entitlement process.
