Salary: $18.00 Hourly
Schedule: Tuesday-Friday 11am-7pm; Saturday-5:30am-1:30pm

As a Cook, You Will:
Help prepare large quantities of a variety of food including meats, fish, poultry, gravies, cereals, soups, vegetables and other foods. You will use various methods of cooking and seasoning and adheres to proper preparations methods.
- Cook food as directed in the operational menu plan for the facility food service operation. Follow recipes and maintain accurate production records.
- Prepare meals according to scheduling and sanitation standards. Ensure the quality assurance of all foods and supplies.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma and one (1) year prior experience in food preparation obtained in commercial, military, or institutional setting strongly preferred.
Other Qualifications:
- At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Criminal clearances (Act 33 and 34, specific State & child clearances and, if necessary, FBI).
- Must pass both federal and state background checks which screen for crimes including, but not limited to drug related crimes, violent crimes, sexual abuse, domestic violence, child abuse, and repeated misdemeanors.
- Non-communicable diseases physical exam.
- Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
