Pool/Beach Attendant

The purpose of a Pool/Beach Attendant is responsible for providing and maintaining a safe, organized and pleasant Beach and Pool areas for all Members and guests. This will be accomplished through the regular maintenance of Beach equipment and furniture, set-up and breakdown of equipment and furniture, regular cleaning and organization of Beach and Pool areas, and overall surveillance of Beach and Pool areas and all patrons.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES"

• Assist Members and guests with beach and pool equipment and furniture setup and breakdown
• Actively maintain organization and cleanliness of Beach and Pool areas, including cleaning furniture and sweeping steps on regular basis
• Ensure all beach and pool equipment and furniture is in safe working order, reporting damage to supervisor and/or Maintenance team
• Maintain surveillance of all Beach and pool patrons, acting immediately and appropriately in any emergency situation
• Collect and report lost items to supervisor and/or Security team
• Maintain readiness to assist Lifeguards in any emergency situation as needed
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors and/or managers
• Knowledge of CPR and emergency medical procedures a plus
• Must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with fellow team members, management team, Members and guests
• Must be able to work a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Must present professional appearance and attitude at all times, maintaining a high level of member service
• Must have ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions
• Must have ability to act swiftly in an emergency situation
• Working primarily in and around Beach Club pool(s) and designated Aquatics areas.
• Performs any other duties as requested by supervisor.
