We're looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, values teamwork, and is committed to providing compassionate patient care.

What You'll Do

As a Veterinary Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting our veterinarians throughout appointments, diagnostics, surgery, and patient care.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, surgeries, and dental procedures
  • Prepare patients for surgery and monitor anesthesia throughout procedures and recovery
  • Administer medications, injections, and fluid therapy
  • Perform venipuncture, laboratory sample collection, and in-house diagnostic testing
  • Run laboratory procedures including fecal exams, urinalysis, skin scrapings, ear cytology, heartworm testing, and fungal cultures
  • Take high-quality digital radiographs and assist with diagnostic imaging
  • Safely restrain patients during examinations and procedures
  • Admit and discharge patients while providing clear home-care instructions to clients
  • Educate clients on medications, preventive care, and treatment plans
  • Prepare treatment estimates and discuss recommendations with pet owners
  • Maintain surgical instruments, treatment areas, and exam rooms
  • Monitor inventory of medications and medical supplies
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Assist teammates throughout the hospital to ensure exceptional patient care

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of veterinary technician experience preferred
  • Strong technical and nursing skills
  • Experience with surgery, anesthesia monitoring, laboratory procedures, and radiology preferred
  • Excellent communication and client education skills
  • Ability to remain calm and organized in a busy clinical environment
  • Team-oriented with a compassionate and positive attitude

Schedule

  • Full-Time
  • Monday–Friday
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Rotating weekends

Physical Requirements

This position requires standing, walking, lifting up to 40 pounds, safely restraining animals of varying sizes, and working in a veterinary hospital environment with exposure to anesthetic gases, laboratory samples, animal odors, and occasional bites or scratches.
