As an administrative Assistant (AA) you will play a pivotal role in managing the schedules and communications of the Administrator.Â
Key Responsibilities:
The AA organizes meetings, including scheduling, and sending reminders for leadership activities. Their duties include prioritizing emails and phone calls, gathering documents to prepare for meetings and coordinating Administrator activities and tasks. An executive such as the hospital Administrator has a very demanding schedule, and the job of the assistant is to ease the workload by taking on most of the administrative duties, leaving the administrator to focus on decision making. This helps to make the administrator’s job easier, which is the goal of the administrative assistant position. The administrative assistant helps organize and keep administration running smoothly. An administrative assistant’s responsibility also includes providing leadership in planning, organizing and controlling the work effort of the Administrator. To minimize all lower-level items the focus of the Administrator can be geared towards the organization’s larger and more strategic initiatives. The AA always maintains strict confidentiality. The AA performs minor accounting duties; code invoices, compile expense reports, etc. and performs other duties as assigned.Â
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, some college: Business, Human Resources or Project Management is preferred
- 1 + years coordinating Business, Human Resources or Project Management activities
- Additional Requirement
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions; ability to follow verbal instructions.
- Proficient knowledge of PC computers
- Basic understanding of Business scheduling and coordinating eventsÂ
