Job Summary
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team! As a Medical Assistant, you will be preparing for each patient visit by preparing charts and imaging prior to appointment, entering scribe notes into chart for doctor charting,  providing routine support to medical staff for sterile procedure preparation, preparing labs and pre-op/post-op meds for procedures and surgeries, tracking and performing chronic care management visits and assisting with follow up of tests and lab reporting to ensure everything is done on time and patients feel cared for.

You will also be helping manage the inventory of medical supplies, setting up machines and testing equipment, and cleaning instruments and rooms. 

The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, strong communication skills, attention to detail, fast-learner, stays well-organized, can work independently and can manage their own time independently. 

Responsibilities 
  • Prepare for the patient visit, including prep charts and scribe notes for provider documentation, as well as setting up medical equipment
  • Clean instruments and equipment after use
  • Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs through routine calls and chronic care management
  • Assist team and doctor with medical care and procedures
  • Track lab results, prep patients for procedures and surgery, basic post-op management, and handle basic medical office duties
Qualifications
  • BLS Certification or Certified Medical Assistant desired
  • Prior medical office experience is preferred. 
  • Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to manage time and work independently with supervisor support
