POSITION SUMMARY
CSAAC is seeking a qualified MANDT Trainer to join the Training Department. The MANDT Trainer provides instruction in Relational, Conceptual, Technical, and Advanced Technical Skills, and may assist the Training Department with training coordination and related administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, punctual, dependable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, social work, human services, or a related field.Â
Experience: Minimum of three years’ experience supporting individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.Â
Skills:Â Strong facilitation, communication, and organizational skills. Demonstrated punctuality, reliability, and professionalism.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Deliver Mandt System training, including Relational, Conceptual, Technical, and Advanced Technical components.Â
- Facilitate engaging and effective training sessions for staff across agency programs.Â
- Assess staff competency in Mandt principles and techniques.Â
- Maintain accurate training records and certification documentation.Â
- Collaborate with program leadership and Training Department staff to support agency training initiatives.
REQUIRED TRAINING/PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS
Current MANDT Trainer certification authorized to teach Relational, Conceptual, Technical, and Advanced Technical skills.Â
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Position is based at CSAAC’s Montgomery Village main office.
- Weekday schedule with occasional weekend trainings required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling and stooping. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 20 pounds.
