Hourly Pay + Commission

James A. Wheat & Sons is currently seeking a skilled Plumber to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in residential properties.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues to provide effective solutions.
  • Perform inspections of plumbing systems to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
  • Respond to emergency plumbing calls in a timely manner.
  • Educate customers on plumbing systems, providing maintenance advice and guidance.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Collaborate with team members and assist in training apprentices as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program preferred.
  • Valid plumbing license as required by local regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service.
  • Due to insurance requirements, applicants must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
