The Medical Technologist is tasked with accurately identifying and analyzing various organisms in the human body related to diseases.
A Medical Technologist II oversees and reviews the work of Lab Assistants while performing laboratory tests across all areas of the Lab.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology from an accredited institution and meet Alabama State Board of Health and CLIA requirements.
No prior experience is required for this position, making it suitable for recent graduates.

The Medical Technologist is responsible for the efficient, accurate identification and technical analysis of various constituents or organisms present in the human body that may be responsible for and/or related to disease. A Medical Technologist II is responsible for and reviews all technical work performed by Lab Assistants. Medical Technologists II performs laboratory testing within all areas of the Lab.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology from an accredited college or university and meeting requirements of Alabama State Board of Health and CLIA personnel requirements for a Technologist. Experience: None

Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: American Society of Clinical Pathologists, American Medical Technologist, MT (ASCP)/MLS, MT (AMT)
