DevSecOps Lead

Overview

DEVSECOPS LEAD (CASBES):

Bowhead seeks a DevSecOps Lead to support the upcoming Cloud Acceleration Services (CAS) Business Enterprise Systems (BES) located in Montgomery, AL. The DevSecOps Lead will design and operation of secure CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Integrate automated security testing.
• Support Agile release planning.
• Apply IaC and deployment automation.
• Help team deliver secure, repeatable, cloud-native software releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Eight (8+) years software engineering or platform delivery experience; five (5+) years implementing DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, IaC, containers, and Agile software delivery.
• Certification: AWS DevOps Engineer - Professional or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert preferred; SAFe DevOps Practitioner/SAFe Agilist preferred; Security+ required/preferred; CKA preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
