This role involves collaborating with the engineering team to develop designs that meet project specifications and manufacturing requirements, using SolidWorks or other similar 3D software. Key Responsibilities: Develop 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using SolidWorks or other similar 3D software. Work closely with engineers to ensure the manufacturability and functionality of designs. Review and update existing drawings to meet revised project requirements. Conduct tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure proper assembly and operation. Assist with the selection of materials and processes for mechanical components. Interface with vendors to verify part specifications and manufacturing capabilities. Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and other project documentation. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal design guidelines. Qualifications 3-5 years of mechanical design experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in SolidWorks or other similar 3D software (e.g., Inventor, Creo, CATIA). Solid understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and production processes.
