FT 7p, three 12 hour shifts per week, working every Friday, Saturday, Sunday OR Saturday, Sunday, Monday.  The Weekend Program adds an additional $8/hour for 7p-7a

The Registered Nurse accurately assesses the needs of assigned patients using sound judgement and critical thinking and documentation reflect timely comprehensive and systematic patient assessment. Plans of care and documentation reflect specific and measurable outcomes, education, and family involvement in the case.

 

 

The RN recognizes crisis situations and intervenes immediately. Interventions and responses are accurately documented.

 

The RN will demonstrate professional responsibility and accountability in collaborating with physicians and other members of the health care team to establish and achieve desired patient outcomes and promote continuity of care.

 

The RN delegates work to other team members as appropriate; evaluates team and provides direct care.

 

The RN demonstrates responsibility for their own competency (see Competency Matrix), mandatories by maintaining all personal performance and competency assessment data up to date, attends all required programs and meets ABN CEU requirements.

 

 

The RN participates in the development and implementation of unit Specific Skills Fair.

 

 

The RN has the ability to function as a charge nurse on unit hired, within six months of hire date.

 

 

The RN adheres to and consistently supports professional standards and health care regulations that provide for and promote safety, quality patient care and patient satisfaction.

 

 

The RN demonstrates responsibility for maintaining knowledge base of current unit and hospital communication through a variety of modalities including but limited to communication books, posted notices, meeting minutes, Jackson Hospital intranet and Jackson Hospital email.

Qualifications

Unrestricted AL or Multi State RN license, BLS and ACLS required.  RN experience preferred.
