Forklift Operator

Description

Summary:

Responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock.

Duties:

• Receive shipments
• Load and unload trucks as required
• Tag and label product
• Box, wrap and pack product in accordance with relevant procedures
• Prepare orders for shipment
• Operate forklift as necessary
• Use an RF Scanner
• Locate product as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Knowledge of operating a forklift
• Ability to work on feet for long periods of time. Regularly required to stand, walk, sit and use hands. Frequently required to crouch, bend, push and pull. May move product up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work independently and safely
• Great physical stamina and manual dexterity
• Team player
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Problem solver

  **Must have minimum 1 year experience operating a sit-down forklift** 

$19.00/hr
