The OpportunityÂ
Â
Most internships start the day fetching coffee, end the day emptying trash bins, with a slew of tedious tasks in between that can make your eyes bleed. That’s not how it works at RJ O’Neil.Â
Â
We know you possess capabilities, a hunger to learn, and a desire to contribute in a meaningful way. We craft our internship with those experiences in mind. Projects that leave a lasting impact on our business long after you’ve moved on. Experiences typically reserved for post-graduate, early-career professionals are put on your plate with a mentor to help you succeed. Don’t take our word for it; see what our interns had to say for themselves at https://tinyurl.com/Alexa-Internship and https://tinyurl.com/Nico-Internship.Â

Who You AreÂ
Â
Curious: You want to understand how things work, why they contribute to success, and how things can be better. Your questions tend to lean toward the why and when, less about the how. Â
Â
Resourceful: You take ownership of your tasks & responsibilities. You’ve likely never done much of this work before; that’s why it’s an internship. But you’re hungry to learn, so you’ll lean on AI, YouTube videos, and help portals as part of your learning experience. You’ll lean on the CEO, CFO & COO to explain the why and the contribution to the company. They’ll lean on you to deliver results.Â
Â
Flexible: As a small business, priorities and business needs evolve quickly. So your assignments & priorities may ebb & flow with them. Â
Â
Reliable: You do what you say you’ll do. You’re on time for work, you meet deadlines, display consistent effort. You don’t pretend to know things you don’t. You learn to bring recommendations and solutions to problems, not just report problems.Â
Â
Coachable: You’ll make mistakes, have some mishaps, and some false starts. We expect that. We’ll coach up front, but we’ll also coach every step of the way. You’ll always get feedback, and you have to be comfortable with that. It’s all directed toward better outcomes and a top-notch learning environment. It’s a balance that allows us to expose you to things that are seldom given to interns. Our part is to coach, yours is to be coachable - a fair trade.Â
Â
Customer Focus:Â Everything we do is for our customers' success - when they win, we win.Â
